8th Wonder of the World available from the Freeverse Store

8th Wonder of the World, the exciting sequel to Northland is now available direct from the Freeverse Store.

Following the release of Robin Hood, Spartan, Burning Monkey Solitaire 2005, Project Nomads, Airburst Extreme and the Big Bang Board Games, 8th Wonder is the final Freeverse release of 2004. Thanks everyone for a great year!

About the Game:

As usual... the Powers of Darkness and Evil have slowly begun spreading all over the world. Everything stands on the brink of eternal chaos as the world's leaders gather in the Council of Nations. They searched desperately to find a way to fight the Evil, but nobody knew what could be done. Then one of the wise men uncovered ancient scrolls which describes a way to fight the Evil. A long and dangerous way, because only if the Eighth Wonder of the World were built again could darkness be banished and the evil defeated.

Their destiny, and with it the destiny of all humanity, now lies in your hands. You must solve the mystery surrounding the Eight Wonder of the World and banish darkness from the Earth!

"Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood", originally developed by Spellbound, and brought to the Mac by E.P.I.C. Interactive takes you to the legendary 12th Century where you assume the role of Robin Hood, Englands greatest Archer, Thief and Patriot!

Take on the roles of Robin Hood and his Merry Men and lead them to the battle field against the nasty Prince John Lackland. In doing so you are able to enjoy the fabulous English landscape of 1190 as well as the giant castles and funny characters.


The thrilling story is features by an award-winning introduction and transfers you directly into the hero’s body with the first mission, in which you have to set your captive comrades free.
