SimStapler X Released

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SimStapler X Released: Migration to OS X Officially Now Way Too Complete.

New York -- August 17

Freeverse today announced the immediate availability of SimStapler for OS X. The original office equipment simulator, SimStapler enables the user to "staple" virtually anything he or she can dream up. SimStapler allows you to pretend that you are stapling two, three or even four pieces of paper together!

But fake-stapling paper is just the beginning with SimStapler. You can staple Magic: The Gathering cards to Steve Jobs' turtleneck, or the Emancipation Proclamation to a 1987 headshot of William Conrad in Jake & The Fatman. Your stapling will only be limited by your powers of imagination!

SimStapler is Theftware. Regular users of the program are asked to misappropriate office supplies from work and send them to Freeverse. As pure theftware SimStapler includes no copy protection or crippled features, it relies solely on the honor system.

SimStapler X may be downloaded here...

Airburst Extreme goes Gold Master. Demo Released.

For Immediate Release:

New York • August 11th, 2004

Freeverse and Strange Flavour announced today that Airburst Extreme, the spectacular multi-player game of balloon bursting at 30,000 ft. has gone Gold Master.

To coincide with this, they have released a playable demo which lets you and up to 3 friends play 2 of the game’s 32 different game types either on the same Mac or over a Local Area Network (LAN).

The full Airburst Extreme game has 32 different game types, introduced by an interactive Story game in which you meet the different characters in the Airburst universe and fly around the solar system playing Airburst games, using your new Extreme powers and foiling the plans of the somewhat dodgy Mars Media Mega Corporation.

Ian Lynch Smith, President of Freeverse has said, "Airburst Extreme is the best kind of sequel. It takes everything that was awesome about the original Airburst and amplifies it a hundred fold. This is a super game, and even better, its only for the Mac!"

Airburst Extreme features spectacular rendered OpenGL graphics, literally billions of levels and a soundtrack from Abdoujaparov, Freekstar and Jaffa Mountain. It will retail for $29.95 and can be found at the Apple Stores and other fine Mac shops.

The Demo can be downloaded from www.airburstextreme.com
