Freeverse Celebrates 10 Years!

NEW YORK, NY -- Back in May of 1994, a young man named Ian Lynch Smith was enjoying the success of his shareware card game, Hearts Deluxe. He decided to incorporate, and Freeverse Software was born.

Ten years later, Freeverse is alive and thriving more than ever. With over forty titles released and a pool of experienced programmers, Freeverse is one of the busiest and most innovative Macintosh gaming companies.

"I couldn't be happier to have aged ten years while sitting in pretty much the same seat focusing exclusively on monkeys." says Ian Lynch Smith, President of Freeverse Software.

As part of the 10th Anniversary festivities, Freeverse is soliciting customers for feedback on their experiences with the company over the last ten years. Both positive and negative feedback is sought, and each valid survey response will receive a thank you gift. Ten surveys will be randomly selected to receive a free game of their choice.

The survey is available until June 12th at:

Also, Freeverse plans on releasing a 10th Anniversary DVD within the next few months. The data DVD will contain over 2 GB of Freeverse games, toys, audio files, artwork, plugins, pictures, and other rarities. Pricing and availability will be announced in the coming weeks.
